Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a totally natural life ability. It's a natural state which we move into and out of every day. For example, when becoming totally engrossed reading a book, the reader may feel attuned to the characters and develop a sense of empathy whilst also imagining vivid scenes, or you may fail to notice the passage of time because we are so taken in by what we are reading. When this takes place we are actually engaging the same brain areas that we do in hypnosis. Another example is when driving on a long journey you realise you have reached your destination but cannot remember the details of the journey, again, this is another natural form of hypnosis.

Clinical hypnotherapy can offer relief for many presenting challenges such as:  confidence issues, depression, sleep disorders, anxiety and stress management, sports and athletic performance, obesity and weight control, smoking cessation, concentration, test/exam anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, pain, post traumatic stress, phobias, OCD's, drinking habits, and many more.
