What is hypnosis like?

Hypnosis is a state of relaxed awareness, where you will be in control all of the time. Hypnosis has been likened to being in a pleasant state of relaxation, an altered state of consciousness into which the unconscious mind can be accessed to bring about safe, therapeutic change. No-one can be hypnotised against their will.

Can I drive my car afterwards?

Yes. Generally you will feel refreshed afterwards, being fully alert and aware.

 

How many sessions will this take?

Generally most concerns can to be addressed to your satisfaction within 3-6 sessions. Though much depends on the nature of the problem, how an individual responds and what else is going on in their lives at the time.

 

How much does it cost?

The cost of your improved wellbeing is determined following assessment and discussion to determine the best way forward for your personal needs.

Do you offer a guarantee?

The Professional associations that I belong to will not allow me to offer guarantees as it is against all ethical and professional codes to do so.

What are your qualifications?

My core qualification is Diploma of Modern Psychology combining Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Life Coaching and Thought Field Therapy. I have additional Emotional Intelligence and Mental Health Awareness certifications. I am a member of a number of professional bodies including the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, General Hypnotherapy Register in the UK and the Australian Hypnotherapy Association. I am fully insured, and have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate.
